Imagine taking 40 kids to a show and having all of them mesmerised. It’s no small ask but is exactly the experience we enjoyed on a recent evening outing to the Heartbeat of the Murray light and laser show at Swan Hill Pioneer Settlement.
Set on the banks of the Murray and featuring a clever use of water, lights, sound and special effects, this state of the art show delved into the history of the Murray River.
Not only was the history fascinating and extended far beyond traditional pioneering tales of the Murray, the exciting delivery allowed the audience to be immersed in the experience. A great family night out or evening adventure for adults and children alike, the Heartbeat of the Murray is a highly enjoyable event that ticks all the right education and entertainment boxes.
