  1. Preheat oven to 160°C, melt 300g of chocolate together with the butter on a low heat. Whisk the sugar and eggs together until light; add flour, almonds and the chocolate mixture.
  2. Pour the mixture on a baking plate with baking paper. The biscuit should be about 1cm high.
  3. Bake for 15 minutes. Allow to cool for a bit.
  4. For the filling, beat 125g of butter until creamy. Beat 50g of sugar and one egg for one minute until fluffy. Mix the butter and sugar-egg mixture together. Add 75g of melted chocolate.
  5. Now spread the filling completely over the biscuit.
  6. For a final touch, use the rest of the filling to cover the yule log. Scoop the rest on top of the yule log and spread it across until you have an even layer. Decorate with as many Guylian chocolates as you wish.
