Split Second is the perfect game for all the family.

There is nothing better than getting together as a family, or with a group of friends, and playing a board game. Board games encourage team work, communication, and quick thinking.
When it comes to buying board games for my family, I am always on the lookout for a game that is not only exciting and fun, but also educational.
Split Second by Crown and Andrews ticks all the boxes. A fast and furious quiz game the whole family will love.
My kids instantly loved the bright box containing the colourful plastic game board, 4 durable whiteboard markers (with built-in erasers – very handy!), 100 question cards (over 500 questions!), and easy to read instructions.
Split Second is easy to set up and can be played with 2 to 5 players. The game board has four paddles that flip up to the centre. Each player has their own paddle and takes it in turns to ask questions and spin the arrow in the centre of the game board to select a category.
A question is read to the group and each player writes their answer on their paddle. The object of the game is to be the first to player to not only write the correct answer on the paddle; but also to let go of the paddle and let it flip to the centre. A bit like playing the card game Snap!
I loved how the questions are simple, short, quirky and fun, and cover a broad range of topics to suit every age group. My children loved the colourful paddles and the sound the paddles made when they hit the centre of the board. They tested this functionality alot!
The paddles are easy to clean using the provided erasers. After playing the game many times the whiteboard markers and erasers still work perfectly, and the paddles are still in great condition.
Split Second is fast paced and exciting. I loved that it can be played for as much or as little time as you like, perfect for children of varying age groups who may get bored or distracted easily.
Split Second is also a great game for children to practice their pencil-grip, handwriting, numeracy and spelling skills.
We loved playing Split Second! Split Second is great fun and a very entertaining board game for all the family!
