She has always loved food and cooking and had great fun introducing her twins to solids. She quickly realised that many parents found this phase of parenting challenging and there was a need for a practical and simple guide.
Combining her love of food with practical advice saw the creation of her popular baby food guide which was first published in 2012.
It was then a natural progression to offer a better alternative of convenient food and launch her own range of FRESH Food Babies Love Fresh Pots.
Who is your family made up of?
My Husband John, 8 year old twins Louis and Sophie and 4 year old daughter GiGi. We also have Maggie the dog and are super lucky to have an amazingly supportive extended family.
What is a typical day with your family like?
Weekdays are a whirlwind of work, kinder, school, extra curricular activities and more work. Somehow we manage to get it all done including the cooking, washing and cleaning. It’s busy.
Who is one person in your life you are thankful for and why?
My Dad. He is an amazing man who has taught me so much about relationships, communication, finance, business, family, well just about everything. He’s an incredible grandpa too – he’s basically dedicated his retirement years to running around after his 6 grandchildren. Pretty selfless and super helpful to all his kids I’d say! His support makes all of our careers possible.
Where do you live and if we were to visit you what would you show us?
I live in Melbourne surrounded by parklands. Pretty lucky really. I think I’d take you across the road to Yarra river floodlands which is basically a bush oasis in the middle of the city.
Parking. I’m really good at parking in tight spaces. But I must admit reverse sensors are making me lazy!
If you had the attention of the world for just 10 seconds, what would you say?
Be Kind. Be respectful. Eat good food.
If you could have any superpower, which would you choose?
Flying for sure. It’d be unreal soaring through the skies. Plus think of the time it would save!
