We are lucky enough to have spent 5 minutes with Katrina to get a sneak peek into what life is like for her.
Who is your family made up of?
My parents, my older brother, my 8 year old daughter (Charlotte), our dog, Riley and our cat, Mr Fox. Our pets are very loved family members.
What is a typical day with your family like?
The weekdays usually revolve around school activities but on the weekends I spend as much time as possible with daughter doing things she loves like learning something new to cook, playing games or seeing her friends.
Who is one person in your life you are thankful for and why?
My friend, Penne Dennison – we have been friends for 20 years and have children the same age. Penne has been my rock through the ups and downs of life and together we have shared the journey of parenthood. I can call on Penne any time of day or night and know she will always be there for me.
Where do you live and if we were to visit you what would you show us?
I live in the Eastern Suburbs of Sydney. I usually take visitors to Watson’s Bay, Bondi Beach and along the coastal walk from Bondi to Bronte. A picnic in Nielson Park is always a nice thing to do.
What is your greatest talent or ability?
Helping people enrich the bond they share with their pets. I am passionate about the incredible role pets play in our lives and I get enormous satisfaction from helping people understand their pets behaviour and health.
If you had the attention of the world for just 10 seconds, what would you say?
Please spare a thought for all animals. They may be voiceless but they share this planet with us and they deserve our respect.
If you could have any superpower, which would you choose?
There are so many places in the world I would like to visit and I would love the ability to click my fingers and be anywhere I choose.
