Family Capers grew from a strong desire within its creators to see a supportive place on the web for all things family.  A place that could be referred to as Community; somewhere that didn’t try to impose a view but a place where anyone with something positive to say could say it and not be fearful of being derided or otherwise belittled.

To set that tone one of the first rules in using the forums is If you can’t say something positive, don’t say anything at all.  (See our mission statement below.)
